Block Grandkids Party 2009

I had the pleasure of capturing the moments of this festive family tradition!  Laura & Henry Block invited me into their gorgeous home where they had all of the grandkids and great grandkids together to celebrate the holidays.  It was a beautiful family with much love and laughter - thank you for allowing me to be there to create some memories for you to cherish.

Creative Art Shoot: THE ELEMENTS

This is a creative project that I have been thinking about for a while.  So I gathered some willing friends as models and recruited my fabulous husband to build a studio with 10x10' backdrop in our apartment (he also kindly left for the day while 5 crazy females took over our home with hairspray and eyeliner). 
We spent the morning doing hair and makeup, started the shoot, and the whole day flew by!

The Groenveld Family

The Groenveld Family was all together for the holidays and wanted an updated family photo!  A planned outdoor shoot for these family photos was quickly switched when the weather dropped below zero...but we managed to capture some great moments!  Here are my favourites.

Angela's Maternity Photos

I took some belly photos for a dear friend Angela and her husband Maurizio.  They are expecting their precious bundle of joy on Christmas Day!  It was a pleasure to work with them and to capture these moments before they meet that little person on the inside!  Here is a quick peak...but there are lots more to come!

Studio Session with Saira

I had the opportunity to work with Saira de Goede of Lexington Models during my Photography course (lexington-models.com).  She was so playful and fun, and we had a great shoot!  These are some of my favourite images from the day.

Studio Session with Jocelyn P

I recently took an Intensive Photo Course with Syx Langemann.  It was an invaluable experience, and I can't believe how much I learned!  At the end of the course we were given the opportunity to shoot 3 models in a variety of different studio settings with a ton of great equipment.
